“Strong Minds are found in Strong Bodies,“ as stated by world leaders such as Thomas Jefferson, Winston Churchill, and Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.  Therefore, we created the FES Strong Minds, Strong Bodies Program in order to help students of all types live healthier and stronger lives.

Exercise does more than just promote a good heart and weight management; it also stimulates functions in the brain. According to the New York Times, “physical exercise has been shown to maintain and improve brain health.”

Whether you are a student with ADHD or an executive at a Fortune 500 company, physical fitness and exercise will improve the executive functions of your brain.  According to Oxford Journals and the Encyclopedia of Mental Disorders, the executive functions influence attention, memory, and motor skills.

At Firat Educational Solutions, LLC, we constantly strive to provide our clients educational solutions for life.  Because of this, we will build strong minds and strong bodies.

Who will benefit from Strong Minds, Strong Bodies?

Any student striving to be physically fit:  Whether you play sports, have other means of exercise, or none at all, Strong Minds, Strong Bodies (SMSB) will benefit you.  Maybe your sport is in the off-season, or you want to exercise without being committed to sports, let our SMSB coaches at FES train the executive function of your brain through routine physical fitness.

Student Athletes:  Are you planning on being an athlete in college?  Do you need to excel in your sport? Is your goal to lose weight? Gain weight? Do you want to be quicker and faster? Hit harder and jump higher?  SMSB coaches will help you with your personal athletic goals and build confidence.  SMSB coaches will not necessarily coach you in a specific sport, but they will help you build the strength you need to excel.

Students with no other means of exercise:  Are sports just not your thing?  Would you rather spend your time engineering airplane models, playing the piano, or practicing on the debate team?  SMSB will give you the physical exercise that you need to develop the brain functions you need to excel in non-sports related activities as well.

It does not matter what type of student you are, Strong Minds, Strong Bodies will tailor a physical fitness program around your needs.

Importance of Rest:

Sleeping helps the brain recover from the days activities.  You will learn how sleep deprivation can affect brain functions and the proper amount of sleep required in proportion with your daily activities.

Proper Nutrition:

Healthy eating is one of the best ways to feel good about yourself.  What you put in your body has a direct relationship to your overall health and wellness.  Healthy eating improves your body’s overall functioning and will give you more energy.  An added bonus of healthy eating is that you will improve your body’s appearance.

Tailored Exercise:

Because of the one-on-one nature of SMSB, you will learn exercises that will help you achieve your specific fitness goals as a student.  Each and every student will learn how a strong body will help develop a strong mind.
